Fixing a bad paint job? Letts Paint has launched Paint Job Rescue, a service that corrects poor workmanship and restores professional-quality finishes.
Ottawa, Canada (PRUnderground) October 8th, 2026
Homeowners searching for answers to a common renovation question, "What's the best way to fix a bad paint job?", now have a dedicated solution. Letts Paint, an Ottawa-based residential painting company, has officially launched Paint Job Rescue, a specialized service designed to correct substandard painting work and restore homes to a professional-quality finish.
Whether caused by poor preparation, uneven coverage, visible brush marks, paint drips, colour inconsistencies, or missed details, a disappointing paint job can leave homeowners frustrated and unsure of their next step. The new Paint Job Rescue service was created to help homeowners avoid the expense of a complete repaint whenever possible by addressing the root causes of painting defects and implementing targeted corrections.
"Many homeowners assume they need to start over from scratch when a contractor delivers poor results," said Alex Dzintars, owner of Letts Paint. "In many cases, a properly executed paint correction process can restore the finish, improve durability, and achieve the look the homeowner originally expected."
The Paint Job Rescue process begins with a detailed assessment of the existing paintwork. Letts Paint's experienced team identifies underlying issues, evaluates surface conditions, and develops a customized plan to correct imperfections. Common remedies include repairing damaged surfaces, sanding rough areas, filling defects, cleaning and priming surfaces, and applying new coatings using professional-grade techniques and materials.
According to Letts Paint, proper preparation is often the difference between a finish that fails prematurely and one that provides long-term performance. By focusing on meticulous surface preparation and attention to detail, the company aims to deliver smooth, durable finishes on walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinetry that stand up to everyday wear and tear.
The launch of Paint Job Rescue reflects a growing demand from homeowners who are seeking experienced professionals to correct painting projects that did not meet expectations. Rather than living with visible defects or paying for a complete repaint, homeowners now have access to a cost-effective option focused specifically on paint correction and repainting services.
As with all of its interior painting services, Letts Paint backs the new offering with a satisfaction guarantee, reinforcing the company's commitment to craftsmanship, customer service, and high-quality results.
