As Our Military Kids celebrates 20 years of military family support, the Lids Foundation crosses the $1 million donation mark to cumulatively fund 3,300 OMK activity grants.

OAKTON, Va., Jan. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Our Military Kids® (OMK), a national nonprofit in its 20^th year of providing extracurricular activity grants for children and teens of deployed National Guard, deployed Reserve, and Veterans in treatment for combat-related injuries, has partnered with the Lids Foundation since 2013 to provide a cumulative 3,300 additional sports activity grants worth $1 million.

This crucial support makes a significant difference in the lives of military children like Russell, 6, whose father has served on three National Guard deployments throughout his life. Each time, OMK activity grants kept him active, connected, and thriving.
